Directions & Transportation

MAHEATA  is located on the north of the Moorea Island, between Cook's Bay and Oponohu Bay; 20 minutes drive from the Moorea airport and 25 minutes from the Moorea ferry's dock.

Transfers to MAHEATA (bus or taxi) will allow you to discover the dramatic mountaintops of the "yellow lizard island" and changing reflection of and exceptional crystalline lagoon.

From both arrival points turn right on the main road that surrounds the island until you find the road sign with MAHEATA.

3.     Take your identity papers

4.     Leave the bungalow.

 

-         Tsunami

The alarm is siren sound, one minute three time.

1.     Turn off the gaz.

2.     Take the minimum you need (identity papers, water, some food, radio)

3.     Leave the bungalow.

-         With the car, go to the Belvedere, in the Opunohu Bay (west)

-         By feet, just cross the road and take the path to the mountain .

 

 

-         Cyclone

Bungalows are anticyclonic.

Stay in security in your bungalow.

Close all doors and windows.

 

 

-         Flood

1.     Turn off the gaz.

3.     Go to VAI NUI by the white stairs, above VAI ITI and VAI MAHA.
